Entries should fall into one of the following categories:
Category A - Reptiles
Lot 1: Native Reptile
Lot 2: Exotic Reptile
Category B - Amphibians
Lot 3: Native Amphibian
Lot 4: Exotic Amphibian
Category C - Other
Lot 5: People and herps
Lot 6: Misc. (habitat, equip.)
Presentation: Entries should be 8 x 10 photo matted to 11 x 14 size, unframed. Photos may be color or black & white.
Limit: 8 photos but no more than 2 in any of the Lots.
Entry Fee: $2.00/photo
When & Where: Bring mounted photo to meeting. All photos must be received by 11:00 am on the 29th.
Judging: Judging will be the afternoon of the 29th, by a panel of three chosen by the hosting organization. Judging will be on composition, originality and photographic excellence.
Rules: All contestants must be current members of the Tennessee Herpetological Society. All photos must be original and produced by the competing photographer.
Prizes: Ribbons will be awarded for first, second and third in each Lot. A Best of Show will be chosen and receive a rosette and a one year membership to the THS.
Notice: The organization committee reserves the right to disqualify any photos deemed unsuitable such as nudes, violence, etc. THS and University of the South shall not be held liable for lost, stolen or damaged photos.
