

THS Grants & Awards
The Tennessee Herpetological Society has multiple grants and awards to support research and outreach concerning Tennessee reptiles and amphibians.

Chadwick Lewis Memorial Grant ($2000)
This grant supports student research that directly or indirectly benefits reptiles and amphibians in Tennessee.

Niemiller Travel Scholarship ($100)
This grant can be used by students to defray the cost of attending the annual THS meeting.

Floyd Scott Travel Scholarship ($100)
This grant can be used by students to defray the cost of attending the annual THS meeting.

Bob Hatcher Conservation Award
This award recognizes an individual who has made a substantial contribution to the conservation of Tennessee's reptiles and amphibians.
​
Best Student Oral/Poster Presentation
Each year, an award is given to a student that gives the best oral presentation at the annual THS conference.
