The Tennessee Herpetological Society has multiple grants and awards to support research and outreach concerning Tennessee reptiles and amphibians.

Chadwick Lewis Memorial Grant ($2000)

This grant supports student research that directly or indirectly benefits reptiles and amphibians in Tennessee.

Niemiller Travel Scholarship

This grant can be used by students to cover the cost of attending the annual THS meeting.

Floyd Scott Travel Scholarship

This grant can be used by students to cover the cost of attending the annual THS meeting. 

​

Bob Hatcher Conservation Award

This award recognizes an individual who has made a substantial contribution to the conservation of Tennessee's reptiles and amphibians. 

​

Best Student Oral/Poster Presentation

Each year, an award is given to a student that gives the best oral presentation at the annual THS conference.
